About Volocopter

Volocopter is a leading company in the field of Urban Air Mobility. Based in Bruchsal, Germany, the company develops electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOLs) as well as integrated mobility solutions for urban environments. With a focus on sustainability, safety, and efficiency, Volocopter is working to integrate air mobility into existing transportation systems – shaping the future of mobility.

Uncomfortable Truth

Innovation without a brand remains invisible

Urban mobility is undergoing a radical transformation. What once sounded like science fiction is becoming reality – yet technological innovation alone is no longer enough. Worldwide, Urban Air Mobility start-ups are competing for investors, regulatory approval, cities, and future users. Competition is intense, capital is scarce, and skepticism around safety and real-world usability remains high. In a market where trust is the decisive currency, one truth becomes clear: technological leadership without strong brand leadership remains invisible. Those who want to shape the mobility of tomorrow must make it understandable, tangible, and emotionally credible today.

Our Approach

A brand that unites contrasts

Volocopter addresses this challenge with a clear and confident brand strategy. The visual guiding principle Connecting Perspectives translates the brand’s multifaceted nature into a coherent design system – balancing groundbreaking technology with elegant aesthetics, the lightness of flight with the highest safety standards, efficiency with experience. Apparent contradictions are deliberately connected and made tangible across all touchpoints – sometimes functional, sometimes emotional. In line with the claim “We bring urban air mobility to life,” the brand supports Volocopter’s transformation from an aircraft manufacturer into an integrated mobility service provider. A key design reference is the visual language of digital wallets – a conscious signal that embeds urban air mobility into the familiar everyday world of the target audience. The vision is simple and compelling: mobility becomes as easy as booking a ticket – and being carried along.
